Registered Yoga Teacher
In my never-ending quest for knowledge in holistic health, healing and wellness I came across Yoga. I’ve practiced Yoga before but not with consistency. After taking classes I always feel stronger, grounded, connected, motivated and confident.
I decided to study Yoga and examine what the roots of Yoga are. I knew there was a deeper meaning and purpose.
Yoga is so much more than physical activity and stretching. Each Asana (pose) has a specific purpose that affects digestion, circulation, pranayama (breathing) and the flow of lymphatic fluids. Yoga promotes healthy cognitive and emotional functioning, physical health, wellness and disease prevention, transcendence and spirituality. Yoga can help improve pain and inflammation of the joints, improve the functioning of the endocrine system; Yoga can be of benefit to every system in the body! The overall benefits are truly endless.
Over the past several months I have successfully completed an in-depth and thorough curriculum studying the history and foundation of Yoga, human anatomy and physiology, several styles of Yoga, asanas, pranayama, chakras and subtle energies, Ayurveda, mudras, meditation, Sanskrit, class planning, sequencing and teaching.
I am proud to announce that I am a Registered Yoga Teacher -RYT-200! I do plan on holding classes soon. If you’re interested please reach out to me! I’d love to share my knowledge and teach.
